Nightwriters for One can be tailored to your individual needs. But ordinarily  you meet with Phyllis for coffee in the mornings to discuss the direction of your day. The rest of the morning and afternoon is free for writing. every evening, when we meet for a glass of wine and/or supper in the main house, you bring your writing with you. The next morning she will be ready to discuss it with you.

The cottage is a short distance from many points of interest: De Jarnette Park with its pond and paths, the Ashland Coffee and Tea, Cross Brothers Market and the various small boutiques, a wine shoppe, ice cream parlour and book store on Center Street.

Registration: NightWriters for One is open to all Nightwriters alums and referrals by alums. Others may apply and be interviewed for consideration. The standard stay is one week for $l500 which includes the cottage, two dinners in the main house, and daily consultation time with Phyllis.

Occasionally, the cottage is offered to writers without editorial consultation.  The standard stay is one week for $525 or $l,850 or the month.
