Nightwriters for One can
be tailored to your individual needs. But ordinarily
you meet
with Phyllis for coffee in the mornings to discuss the
direction of your day. The rest of the morning and afternoon
is free
for writing. One of those nights when you have dinner in
the main house, you may bring your writing with you.
The next morning she will be ready to discuss it with
you.
The cottage is
a short distance from many points of interest: De Jarnette
Park with its pond and paths, the Ashland Coffee and Tea,
Cross Brothers Market and the various small boutiques,
a wine
shoppe, ice cream parlour and book store on Center Street.
Registration:
NightWriters for One is open to all Nightwriters alums and
referrals by alums. Others may apply and be interviewed
for
consideration. The standard stay is one week for $1,500 which
includes the cottage and up to l0 hours @$l00 per hour
of
consultation time with Phyllis.
